hi.....i've got the engine running with your contrib and it rocks.....even got the banner thing working too....

my question is if there is a way of putting multiple images for a single product???.... i need this because my store shows the sizes of the products so that the customers have an idea of the size of it and see if it will fit.....any answers will be welcome...thx

hi, i have a problem with my shop. the first time somebody browses through it's fast but when they close the browser and open it again either it's very slow o or it doesn't open the shop at all. Is it posible that my setup is wrong somewhere??? it appears to be that the mysql is not closing the sessions correctly......i'm running my shop on a Xampp 1.5.3a server and i also have websites running as well.....do i have to change something in the oscommerce setup to speed the shop up???...please help.....

I just want to change the Categories box (and any other box that can use them) to include the blue arrow buttons contained in V1.7.

 

Is there a way to implement this for just that?

Make doubly shure that you have uploaded all the files to the correct folder overwriting the old ones there.

 

When viewing your site the first time after having applided BDP, press CTRL + F5

Hi, complete newbie on this program, just installed it as part of lycos hosting, I have tried dropping all the files/folders over the install but the site just goes blank and have to restore. Does this work on a lycos install?

I'm new at this, but I think I've got it mostly figured out. I've got everything installed, but I can't figure out how to make the right columb fit inside the box. Take a look here at the site:

Apparently this is a problem in Firefox. It's displays fine in IE, but not Firefox. Any ideas?

Looking even closer after having changed some colors and added to the header, it looks like in IE the table is actually set to 800, but in firefox it's not.

Since this uses CSS for the buttons, can you help me out in trying to diable the Add to Cart/Buy Now buttons when inventory is down to zero.

 

Instead of Add to Cart..I would just like it to keep the same feel using the CSS, but just change to "Out of stock"

 

The few contibutions I found have me adding gif files all over.

I've installed the 1.8 pack, everything seems to be workin fine except for the thumbnails.

For instance, I add a new product, the enlarge picture is shown but the thumbnails are not.

I also checked the /catalog/images/imagecache on the ftp but there's nothing in there.

 

I have been researching for an answer for 2 days already but no luck.

any advise?

any contribution which uses the original osc trp get button functions will also work together with the css button set-up automatically

have a look at your settings in your shop admin under configuration >> images , some setting there can in some cases affect the thumbs functions.

 

 

I will also add an updated BDP today, which will include an alternative thumbnails generation metode for those where the original one does not function properly.

Okay figured that out... Now I'm trying to get an understanding of the thumbnailing function. My assumption is the best implementation is one leveraging the GD Library. This is all auto-thumnailing stuff right? Do I do anything special?

Well, I was able to figure the inventory = 0 disable the buy now/ add to cart.

 

I used this as well as some of my own ideas..

Looks ok...i would then suggest that you try to use the includes/functions/html_output.php from BDP 1.9 the new version with on the fly thumbnails iusing gd lib.
