front page

Can someone tell me how I can put something else in the front page all together. I still will call the header, footer, right and left but I need this thing highly customized.

looks like you have been playing with the header and removed the footer which is supposed to stay unless you modify the site beyond osCommerce recognition

you can modify the front page to include pics where it points to it:

 

Editing Page Texts

 

The text shown here can be modified in the following file, on each language basis:

 

[path to catalog]/includes/languages/english/index.php

 

That file can be edited manually, or via the Administration Tool with the Languages->English->Define or Tools->File Manager modules.

 

The text is set in the following manner:

 

define('TEXT_MAIN', 'This is a default setup of the osCommerce project...');

It will be modified beyond oscommerce reconigtion I tried to get them to use something else to no luck. Now the page has changed I need to get rid of everything incuding headers, right left.... And make just one gigantic image mapped picture appear..
