Guest Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 About 6 months ago I had to rename some products which changed the url's, the consequence was Google dropped my site and I ended up with only a few pages indexed by Google. My site has just been indexed again and I'm looking for some advice on what to do with products I no longer want in my shop? I want to delete the products but it would probably have disaterous consiquenses with Google but dont want certain products in my shop anymore! What can I do? Do I set up redirects for the products I want to delete? Is this garunteed to work?

Jack Jack thanks for the reply do you know how to set up the redirects? My hosting company said I need to chance the php scritp to make the redirects happen? There is a redirect url option in the control pannel from my host but it cant handle scripts.
