Wrting text in HTML please help!

Hi

 

I am trying to fill out my product description using html editor but when i paste it in page i get a big space between lines e.g

 

MOISTURE SHAMPOO

 

This is a good shampoo

 

i dont want the big space in between the 2 lines i want the word THIS to sit directly under the word MOISTURE that way the text doesnt take up so much room on the page. Im using both Net objects and Dreamweaver and they both give me the same results. I thought you just looked for <br> and took it out but there is no <br> there. I have also taken out <p> but it justs shoves it all up together.

 

P.s I only just know what im doing so please try to explain simply for me.

hello - if you are using the html editor for your product descriptions - don't press the enter key to get to the next line - press shift+enter and that will give you a single line break - the enter key will give you a double line break.

when you are logged in to the admin area and are either editing or adding a product there is an area there to enter the product description - i thought that was where you were using the html editor
