How to change the url links sent within emails?

Can anyone please tell me how to change the URL's that are sent as part of the emails that send automatically when a purchase has been made, or when someone "Tell's a Friend", etc.?

Here's five that mail something. A search will help you find all places the mail function is called.

contact_us.php

create_account.php

tell_a_friend.php

password_forgotten.php

Change them so the URL reads plain www.mysite.com.... - rather than http://www.mysite.com/catalog

 

...as an example
