al4445 Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 The administration tool will only let me choose images that are on my computer. I have got a copy of the store on my computer, When I update these files and upload them to my store the image is missing. Why wont the admin tool let me choose a file from a remote server directory? I am also completely new at this.

When you told Osc where the image was, did you say it was catalog/images/widgets.gif or catalog/images/widgets/widgets.gif It is more than likely pointing to the wrong place or uploaded to the wrong place. You did upload them, right?

ecgbyme Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Any Ideas????? Please help..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why don't you simple download the images you want and save them to your hard drive. Just right click on the image and save to disk. Create a file on your C drive, call it wahtever you want, store-images or whatever and save the images to this file. That way you'll be able to retrieve them from your hard drive.

My guess is you have a problem with your configure.php files. After you upload check the broken image properties and see if the location is correct. My guess is it isn't.

jasper98 Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 I'm not sure exactly. Are you using ssl for you admin section? I had a similar problem where the images in the admin dir. were showing https://ssl.xxx.com/image.jpg when they should have been https://ssl.xxx.com/xxxx/image.jpg. That's why they weren't showing up.

jasper98 Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 ah, I'm guessing it's just a small configuration problem. maybe post your catalog/includes/configure.php, just block out your database information. I'm sure someone here could figure it out.
