Cowzor Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 I already have an OSc store with various contribs installed Is is possible that if I copied all the .php etc files to a new store, then uploaded and 'restored' a database from my current store, that I would in effect have a working second store (I realise that some information would need to be changed as far as settings from locations and passwords on some parts of it) Then afterwards I'd be free to just delete the products, and replace them with the second stores products, chage the name of the store etc Would this be a fair assumption or am I way off?

Main changes would be in your config.php in both catalog & admin, plus remember to copy the images if needed, plus you may need to consider SSL etc for your new store. But essentially copying a store is as easy as you say. M-Pro
