Cannot access the Admin Area

Hi guys

 

I was editing and uploading a new left column file in the catalog/includes bit of my site. I was trying to add a Paypal logo below the information box, but I was unsucessful. I had to replace the origonal file a few times ( lucky I made a copy) and then everything was fine.

 

Until I tried to access my admin off the site. I get into the admin menu but when I click on any function such as ' Configuration' or 'Customers' I get the following message -

 

Warning: main(includes/boxes/categories.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/stormmon/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/column_left.php on line 16

 

Warning: main(includes/boxes/manufacturers.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/stormmon/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/column_left.php on line 22

 

Warning: main(includes/boxes/whats_new.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/stormmon/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/column_left.php on line 25

 

Each one of these paragraphs are repeated about 3 times each on the page.

 

What have I done!!!! This site is critical to my income, not to mention mental health!

You have uploaded the wrong column_left.php to admin - there is one in admin/includes and another in catalog/includes - they are different

 

From reading your post, you should have uploaded to catalog/includes :D

Thanks for the reply, how can I then restore the one that I have done by mistake? Im not sure where on my system the origonal file is. Is there anyway to download a new left column file?

Go to the downloads section at www.oscommerce.com and download the osCommerce 2.2 MS2 zip file. Unzip it on your computer and all the files you need you'll find in the 'catalog' folder.
