Transfering Orders from one customer to another

I have an account in my own store called "Cash Account" and if somone phones an order or placed it in person I use this account to create their order.

 

Recently I have found a number of my good and repeat clients have been using this a lot and I would perfer to set them up their own account (some already have). I would like to be able to "transfer" any existing orders to this persons account primarly for them to view their order history, easy to track down old orders, and statistics for rewarding repeat/highvalue customers.

 

Has anyone else come to this problem? and more importantly has somone got a solution they would like to share?
