Limited avaliabilty box function

Hi all,

 

New to OSCommerce, creating an online shop and I want to include a limited availability box to appear on all pages... Basically it would work exactly the same as the "specials" box so its just a matter of copying and moding the /includes/boxes/specials.php file, however obviously I will need to copy and mod other files for it to work, for example in the admin panel to allow easy updating of these products. What I need to know please is which files I need in order for this to work?
