Items Disappearing & Timing out on checkout!

Hey Guys,

 

I'm pretty knew to this stuff & I've hit a major road block that I can't seem to get past. One is things I add to my cart won't always show up there until i refresh a few times, and then they still might not show up. And then the other, more major is issue, is that

 

"When I click 'continue to checkout', my browser times out and comes up w/ a dead couldn't find the page -- page." Any help is greatly appreciated.
