Larry W Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 I'm hoping this will be explained well. My wife's business started having the shopping cart/catalog installed on their site , then they decided they weren't thrilled with the slow results they were getting and stopped. I created them a basic html page which is getting them back in business, but not as well as they could. I want to re-install the catalog/shopping cart but hit a brick wall when I access the admin page and get the password prompt. The previous people left on bad terms, is there anyway to reinstall the admin portion of the program and leaving the old site intact? Or do I need to rebuild it from the ground up? I'm not going to get rich on this by any means but I think it would help the company if I did get the old catalog site up and running. It never was fully functional and online but it did have about 25% of the product already entered. Help!!!! ( Please )
♥Vger Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Use the Password or Directory Protect function in your web hosting control panel to re-protect the 'admin' folder for osCommerce. This will overwrite any previous User Name and Password setting. Vger
