Email Checkout

Right, As a security measure for the moment, we wish to only take email orders when the user clicks "checkout".

 

Now, when they do this, we'll get an email with their details, we phone them up and get their CC details and what not, take payment and deliver the goods.

 

Is there a contribution that does this? I've had a good rake but all I've found so far is yes, but no real links :(

 

OR does osC do this by default with no payments? If so, then no actualy email gets sent (If a user registers they get an email so that works) to the "Orders@whatever". Is there a location to set this?

 

Help would be much appreciated.

There is a contribution that I saw just today called fax/phone orders 1.2 which might be of interest.

 

You can set the email address in your admin section.

Cheers, I'll have a look into that.

 

I discovered what the problem is, and its appears to be server side. Its sending to the DEFAULT hosting email and not to any i've set in the osCommerce. Say I set [email protected], but it gets sent to [email protected]. The banana account is my personal account.

 

Strange! The investigation continues!
