Challenging osC problem: EasyPopulate/ExtraField

Question: Would these 2 modules work together: Extra Field and EasyPopulate?

 

Background: My entire 6000 products are saved as a .CSV file. Each of the field (column) is the product's attribute. I would like to upload the products easily. So I used EasyPopulate. I soon found out that osC only has "Product Description" as the only place to put the product's attributes. So now I look to use Extra Field module for the extra attributes.

 

Problem: But if I used EasyPopulate to upload the products, would it know to put the attributes in the extra fields? Has anyone ever encountered my problem?

After spending a weekend, yes, it's possible to make those two products work together. We were able to upload all 6000 products each with the extra fields filled up and displayed nicely.
