breamillman Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Anyone know how to make the order email that both I and the customer receive show the product attributes that the customer chose for their order?? I always have to go into the admin panel and pull up the order there to see what attributes were chosen, nothing but the product name show in the email. For example: When a customer chooses product "balm of the month club" they choose the attributes 1) Gift? YES 2) Start Month? NOW 3) Personalized? YES But these chosen attributes only show in the database copy of the order. The email I receive simply shows: 1 X Balm of the Month Club Anyone know how to fix it?? I searched the forums and can't seem to find the answer. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks :thumbsup: ~BREA

They should be passed to this var: $products_ordered and finally they are concatenated to the $email_order. Now if you use some contribs you need to check if there are other tables that need to be added to that file so the email includes them.

I commented those out because it was throwing an error about calling special chars or something.. hehe So I took the comments off both- and it threw the error again. Put the comments back on the one talking about special characters, and left it off the other, and voila product attributes are now showing in the emails. Sweet! Although I still can't get the customer entered text attribute to show in the email- but I think that's a whole other story.. or something to do with the special characters that errors out..
