Money order module...

Ahhhh I miss the days when OSC did what it was supposed to.

Simple money order module. I have it set to have the order status at pending since nothing can be done until payment is recieved. But it's not working. It's setting it to processing.

But I have a question for everyone with some time. I sell bargain books and regular new books. The bargain books are in limited quantity and I use a wholeseller who drop ships.

I just realized after going live last night that this throws a monkey wrench with accepting money orders.

I think I have a few options but maybe you can see other options:

1) stop accepting money orders and hope for the best in regards to the 6,000 newsletters I sent out via e-mail last night saying I accept money orders

2) Go ahead and order the books and have them shipped to my while I await the money order to ensure the book is available for orders placed with a money order (which is a problem considering I do believe a lot of people will forget to send the money order or just not send it)

3) Make it so you can't choose to send a money order for bargain books. Which too me looks like I'd have to rewrite OSC to accomplish??

Any thoughts?

The issue is that when they buy from me, it depletes the stock in my store but doesn't deplete the stock in my wholesellers stash. So someone who orders by money order and sends it in and I get it a week or two after their order, the book could be out of stock with my wholeseller and there is no such thing as back order for bargain/remainder books.

The regular new books I sell it doesn't matter because they are always available or can be back ordered.

I was just wrapped up in all the other aspects of this store I missed this and thought I'd thought about just about everything. Hmph!

Thanks!
