Pay Pal orders -I get payment, but no order

Every time someone pays with pay pal, I get the payment, but not the order. What is happening? Is it possible that once they go to the pay pal website, that the order is not being completed? And then it doesn't get into my system? How can I fix this? I havn't actually tried to put in an order and follow it all the way through.

hi i had that problem too. what happens is the customer is not clicking on the "Return to Merchant " button at the end of paypal payment process.

Install paypal IPN (search for paypal and team in contribs), and this will never happen again :-). It will store your order data in any case, even when the user doesn't return to the site.
