Affiliation Center Question

Hi,

 

I've just made a clients website live, that has used the oscommere engine (but highly modified, almost completly re-written), and they want an affiliation center to be put on it.

 

Now i have seen the contributions available for it, where by you log in, and then to add a link to a product on their site, they enter in the product code, and it finds the product and displays the html text for them to copy. What i want to know is, if its possible to wipe out the need for searching for the product code, and if their is a way i could implement it so they can login to the affiliate center, and then browse the site to find a product they want - as if they were going to buy a product, and when they have found one they like, they click into the product info page, and beneath the products review, it has the html to copy to create an affiliate link to the product.

 

Any ideas, or links to attributes would be great. The site is www.chimera-online.co.uk, and if you see any functions you would like, i am going to be creating contributions for them soon to add to the site.

that is a very well-designed site!!! probably the best i've seen that uses the oscommerce engine :thumbsup:

Just noticed that i probably wasn't allowed to add a link to the site in that post, so if the moderators are viewing this, please delete it and sorry.

 

The link was only posted due to the site being heavily modified, and i'm not sure whether a contribution will be the answer or whether or not i will have to code my own affiliation center.
