maksum
I have installed and reinstalled several times to see if I'm missing a step or something. my admin page (www.sitename.com/shop/admin) is not secure. I can get in on any computer, from any browser, with cache and cookies cleared, and it never requires a username or password to get in. Anyone know how I can fix that? I've looked through the admin tool and can't find anyway to assure that it's secured. Thanks in advance for any advice that can be offered. Guest
by default osCommerce has no admin protection, this is done via your host cpanel/vdeck, etc using htaccess. you can search tips and tricks for htaccess. there are also admin contributions available. maksum
Thanks for the replies. I did indeed find a tool in the control panel of my hosting service that allowed me to secure the directory.
