does anyone know how to make product thumbnails larger? it really looks bad on my site when it is all compressed. Thank you.

The sizes are set in admin->configuration->images but why do they look bad?

 

If it is because they're distorted out of shape try entering a blank value for the image height in the admin pages. This will keep the aspect ratio of your images so they are not distorted!!

okay, i will try that after i upload all my images. thank you beer monster~ yes, my dresses and models all look crunch up and distorted!

i have an admin folder but no configuration folder. i have admin/configuration.php. is this what you mean? if so where in the configuration folder do i modify the image sizes? i am not sure what i am looking at with the code.

my problem was fixed by a knowledgeable member of the os community, leisureT. he helped me tremendously!!!!!!

okay, i found it!!! i went into the administration panel and found the image height and width specifications!!!! woohoo!!!

what makes me personally really happy is that you decided to stick to osC as I do not whish anybody the experinces I made evaluating commercial offers for carts included in hosting packages.

 

I have an on VPS for 7eur a month now and with osC I feel to have made the best choice ;)

HI beermonster,

 

if you and dahui lived here, i would take you both out for beers! i have one more silly question, when i click on my images to enlargen, it opens to a new window that is not in maximized position and therefore i have to scroll to see all of my images...somehow i did something wrong bcs the images in the popwindow is no longer compressing and fitting into a maximize window like it used to. thank you in advance for your help.
