How-To Modify the Search Results Display

Okay, I am just starting out with OSCommerce.

I would like to modify the Search Result pages (for both the quick find and advanced search)

Currently, my search result page displays the item image, the name of the product, along with price and a buy now button.

I would like to modify these results so that I can display info from any of the other product fields. For example, I want to add a short product description and also display some of the attributes (I sell inkjet cartidges so I'd like to show a special icon depending on the color if the cartridge. I store the color info in it's own field in the product database)

I guess my main problem is that I can not find the MySQL query that is actually executed when the search is performed.

As I am so new to OSCommerce, I don't know exaclty where to look to find the query. I have been digging through lots of files but I cannot find the straight SQL statements.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks
