ecgbyme
Hello How can 2 separate price sturctures be set up? I would like to have certain pricing for Canada and certain for US. This way the price is not always different with dollar fluctuations for the non default country. Having a differtent price everytime a customer comes back is really bad for business. Appreciate any help!! Can the font size be changed say on the welcome page (index.php)?

Guest
have you tried to setup the currencies in your admin panel? The default osc has multiple currencies support.
ecgbyme
Thanks for your reply. I'm a Newbie. Could you tell me where I might find currencies as I've looked through the control. Pointing me in the right direction will be appreciated.

ecgbyme
I've been in there ans set up Canadian as default and set up US. The US pricing automatically calculates at the exchange rate. How can I set up set prices for US?
Guest
the exchange rate automatically sets the price for you So now if within your shop you select say USD currency the products will show with USD values based on the exchange rate you define in the admin
ecgbyme
Hi Mark Yes, that's how it's set up, but I need to set stable different prices for the US. It's bad business to have different pricing each time a US customers comes back to re-buy product. I may have to create a mirror site all in US pricing with a added button for US or Candian customers. That would be a lot of work, so I'm hoping there is some way to do away with the automatic conversion and put in stable US pricing. I've looked at the catalog/products to see if each one could be set in CAN or US but didin't see anything.
Guest
if you change the price of the product it will change the price on all currencies. Also if say you change the exchange rate again will change the prices. Now if you're in a position like I was (different prices in CA vs US and slightly different products) I did setup 2 different catalogs with my shop. There are some contributions for currencies scripts but I dont know how close they will be for the price difference you need. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2467 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,406 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,
