signs Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Last night my sight was very slow accessing the admin area. Sometimes it's like that and I don't worry too much, but this morning it was working fine all accept for one thing... An entire page from my orders section is missing. Luckily for me I printed out each order yesterday because I had gotten so many it's just easier to keep track of what's going on if I have them on paper and don't have to keep going back to the computer. But this is so strange....I don't know if it was some "glitch" that wiped them out or if I got hacked, but every order from 9/8 until today is gone and that adds up to over 25. All the stuff I do is custom and there are lots of instructions, not to mention their payment info and their shipping info, so I was just wondering if anyone knows how to recover this stuff. I have never used the database backup  because I don't know how. Would this have solved my problem? Should I backup every day? How do you do it? I feel like such a ditz admitting it, but hey....if I hadn't just HAPPENED to print out all those orders yesterday I would REALLY be in a jam today. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D Signs
