COD + Free shipping problem & COD tax problem

I think these two issues are already quite ancient B) problems, but anyway I couldn't find any working solutions.

 

If someone could really help, I'd like to send a small thank you by PayPal (20€).

 

Issue 1: COD Fee + Free shipping

 

Even when the limit of 50 € for free shipping is exceeded, but the COD is chosen as payment method... I need to add COD fee of 3,50€ and provide all other shipping costs free of charge.

 

Issue 2: COD Fee + Tax

 

Tax for COD fee is exactly same as for other shipping costs (8%). However when the same tax class is chosen for both shipping costs and COD... Tax is shown as follows:

 

Sub-Total: 26,50€

Zone Rates (Shipping to FI : 0.75 kg(s)): 3,50€

ALV/VAT 8.0%: 2,22€

Cash on Delivery Fee: 3,50€

8: 0,26€

Total: 33,50€

 

Problem doesn't disappear even if I use different order (COD before ALV/VAT).

I had similiar problems with ALV. I could not find any direct help from support sites neither any answer about 10 questions about this topic so i was almoutgiving up with OSC. After couple days and long hours i found swedish support pages and also contribution called "Svenska_betalningsmetoder_2.2_och_momsen.zip". With this one i could finally get ALV working as i think i correct way. Warning though in this contribution there is a silly error of miscalculation for %. So this needs to be corrected.

Now iam working with Luottokunta module to get that DMP-palvelu working. What payments are you using. (asking this because there are not too many finnish contributions out there).
