changing folder name

Hi

 

On my sever os commerce is a feature that we can install at the click of a button great easy to do and no problems the only thing is, is that it creates the store in a folder called catalog now if i was to change this to say my store what would be the implications ? would all th links/ nav go to pot or would they still work as i noticed that the link to the store front says catalog which is a bit naf and the code is tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT) so can i change the name of the main folder or not is basically what i am asking

Sure you can change the folder name.

 

Just change the folder name then open:

includes/configure.php

and

admin/includes/configure.php

 

Go thru the files and find all the lines which define the store folder.

Change "catalog" to your new folder name
