I cant pass trough this step. I get error 404 Someone can help please?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A test connection made to the database was successful.

Please continue the installation process to execute the database import procedure.

It is important this procedure is not interrupted, otherwise the database may end up corrupt.

The file to import must be located and named at:

/data/members/free/multimania/fr/i/i/m/iimike1988/htdocs/catalog/install/oscommerce.sql

whats the error any message or is simply the file not found? the original osc sql file is in the tar and you can manually place to the path above, retry install and tell what happens

I got this error when I've place the osc sql at the right place

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

Is it caused by the servier config?

During the install you need:

1. db_server address = usually localhost

2. MySQL User Name = your mysql user name

3. MySQL Password = your mysql password

4. Database Name = the name of the blank database you created before you started the install???
