MoisesZaragoza
To change the colors you have to see the files in : catalog>stylesheet.css near the top BODY { background: #ffffff; // This is the backround color color: #000000;// This is the Textcolor margin: 0px; } at the end of the day the code will be good

Guest
i think you have misunderstood what moises is trying to tell you. don't go to the admin page! stylesheets.css is a php file, you can find it in the files you downloaded initially. go to the admin folder, then in here you will find the file! dave111
stylesheet.css is not in the includes folder, its in the main directory (catalog directory)

Birky
ok i found the style sheets no it pops up like a notepad and in that it has the color #ffffff so how would i change that. thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You need to change the hex value to whatever colour you want, #ffffff is white.......there's a hex conversion chart here http://www.hertsinternet.com/webdesign/colourchart/
GRATIOTWHEEL
ok i got to that and when i put it in do i still keep the # or take that out.. and once that is in do i go to file then save it... and also does it change right away or do i have to wait a while
jeffy777
stylesheet.css is not in the includes folder, its in the main directory (catalog directory) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you're right, my mistake you can leave in the # or take it out, doesn't matter. The change will take effect immediately.

PHP_Newb
BODY { background: #ffffff; color: #000000; margin: 0px; } so it could be for example BODY { background: #385A99; color: #000000; margin: 0px; } Thats where you need to change it. Just incase your not.
GRATIOTWHEEL
I JUST NOTICED THAT IT HAS THE COLOR AND BACKROUND IN THERE AT LEAST 10 TIMES I WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE ALL OF THEM CORRECT??
MoisesZaragoza
If you are using NotePad you can use ctrl+H to find all the #ffffff (white) to #999999 (Gry) at the end of the day the code will be good

Deano
Hi, how I learnt with the style sheet is I downloaded it via my ftp, made a back-up of it, and played around changing the colour settings, and see what everything does ..... if you muck up you always have your back up to get it back to normal. Birky
MAYBE IM NOT DOIN IT RIGHT MAYBE U CAN TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO CHANGE IN HERE.. THANKS AGAIN <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How are you editing this file.....don't forget if you are using Notepad then you need to save it as stylesheet.css or else it will just save it as a text file (.txt). Try a section at a time and then view the page to see which sections you have changed....make sure you have an original copy though to upload in case you screw it up. MoisesZaragoza
Dont forget that you may be changing that you may be doing may be in a diferent part of the site that you are not looking at at the end of the day the code will be good
Jeremy at oddly enough
As Andy mentioned, you'll most likely need to refresh the page to see the changes, if you don't your computer will call up a cached page, and it will look unchanged.
