Diaz Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 ....how do I go about setting up my secure cart "https"? I have read a forum thread about this but can not make any sence of what I found... I just need a few simple sentences that will guide me to through the starting point. TIA Diaz
dave111 Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Firstly you already have a SSL installed on the site right? So you can view your site via https://yourdomain.com If this is setup then just open catalog/includes/configure.php Look for this: define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://yourdomain.com'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? Make sure the https://yourdomain.com is correct to point to your site thru https:// and change false to true Also can do the same in the admin/includes/configure.php if you want the admin area to be behind SSL
Diaz Posted September 10, 2005 Author Posted September 10, 2005 my site is still not going to the secure part when you go to the checkout. What else should I have done? Diaz

Because this still has not been changed to https:// B)
