Nexus1 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I currently have a cart and website hosted by crappy GoDaddy. Transferring the actual website I should have no problems doing. How are people migrating their existing OSCommerce carts over to a new host? - Just copying all the files over to the new host? - What about the database??
Guest Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 your new host should be able to help you xfer the database and keep your site up and running while DNS propogates. they may charge you for their time, that is to be expected. you do need to backup your database and take it with you, that should be a given . . .
