Nexus1 Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 I currently have a cart and website hosted by crappy GoDaddy. Transferring the actual website I should have no problems doing. How are people migrating their existing OSCommerce carts over to a new host? - Just copying all the files over to the new host? - What about the database?? jeffy777 Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 For the database, use the backup tool in the admin section and download the backup to your PC. After you uplaod all your files to the new server, create a database with the same name as your old one (same user and password as well) then upload the install directory and run it (This will setup your configuration).
