Click to enlarge image> does not enlarge

How do I increase te size of the image in the pop up when I click to enlarge?

the popup is the size of your image uploaded ... what size did you upload?

I uploaded the image 100x200.

I did not have resize image checked and have now reduced the size now in admin>configuration>images small image width 50 and small image height 100.

The click enlarge image now becomes alot bigger (bigger than my uploaded image) but my product images are too small.

 

If I change my values to 80 x160 the enlarge image stays small.

 

I cant seem to work out the releationship!!??
