Problem with backing up the database

I've tried to do a backup of my store using the admin 'back up' facility but get this message when I try:

Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/fhlinux201/m/mobre.co.uk/user/htdocs/shop/admin/backup_mysql.php on line 91

Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/fhlinux201/m/mobre.co.uk/user/htdocs/shop/admin/backup_mysql.php on line 92

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/fhlinux201/m/mobre.co.uk/user/htdocs/shop/admin/backup_mysql.php on line 100

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/fhlinux201/m/mobre.co.uk/user/htdocs/shop/admin/backup_mysql.php:91) in /home/fhlinux201/m/mobre.co.uk/user/htdocs/shop/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 128

What can I do to resolve this?

Is there a way of performing a reliable manual backup via ftp? I can't even see where my database is stored!

Any tips for reliable backinh up and restoring would be gratefully received!

Hi,

you should be able to access your database from your host cPanel phpmyadmin link. You can export the database there too ...
