Order Submit: Click only once?

Ran into a situation where a customer of ours, who is using a payment gateway, has some customers impatiently clicking SUBMIT / CONTINUE more than once during the finaly checkout_confirmation.php page.

Is there any contributions out there that will only allow a person to click SUBMIT once during checkout?

Or has anyone else run into this problem that has a code snippet I could use?

Thanks in advance. :thumbsup:

Sincerely,

Bruce

Okay since I have not yet seen any contributions or coding snippets to accomplish this, I have added a new variable into the CUSTOMERS table, and successfully added in form elements.

However I am unable to find the query that actually inserts the data into the CUSTOMERS table. Any ideas where I can find this?

Sincerely,

Bruce

Whoops. The response above was posted to the wrong topic.

Back on track to the original topic at hand :).

Anyone know of a contribution or a code snippet that can be used to disallow a customer from submitting their payment more than once on the checkout_confirmation.php page?

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Bruce

Well here's where it should go:

(checkout_confirmation.php)

<?php
 if (isset($$payment->form_action_url)) {
$form_action_url = $$payment->form_action_url;
 } else {
$form_action_url = tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PROCESS, '', 'SSL');
 }

 echo tep_draw_form('checkout_confirmation', $form_action_url, 'post');

 if (is_array($payment_modules->modules)) {
echo $payment_modules->process_button();
 }

 echo tep_image_submit('button_confirm_order.gif', IMAGE_BUTTON_CONFIRM_ORDER) . '</form>' . "\n";
?>

But I dont know where the <form> is. It looks hidden somewhere inside the tep files which just confuse me. If I could find that, I could easily install either of these javascripts
