Multiple Image views on same page

Hi,

I am a newbie at OSCommerce and PHP. I need to have multiple views for my product (Like the front, back and closer) on the page that would describe my product. How can I do that?

Also, when someone clicks on the main category, I want to be able to give some explanation about that category, before it shows the categories on that page.

How can I do that?

Thanks

There is a contribution called Mo Pics and another called UltraPics. However, you could be a bit more creative and save on having to install a contribution. If you have a programme like Paint Shop Pro or Gif Construction Set you can take a number of images and turn them into an animated gif image. You only upload the one image as normal, but it changes within the same place.

Good point. Thanks both. I'll see how difficult would it be to make the contributions work, else I'll make a .gif (I don't want customers to get pissed off because I am not showing them all the posible views at the same time ... never know what upsets them ... right?)

Between, I still gotta ask this. For the 2nd point wherein I want that I shoudl be able to give a general description of the category before it displays the items in that category, and also, based on the category link clicked in the left column, I want an image to appear (instead of the "category" that appears in the main section), would I just need to change some .php file? If yes which one? (I am getting myself acquainted with .php and have no clue where to look)

thank you.

Not entirely sure what your second point is. My head is kinda foggy today but

1. there are contributions to add category descriptions but they appear at the top of the category page.

2. if you want to use an image for the category name instead of text in your categories box... when entering the category name in your admin just use the code for an image like <img src="images/category/pic1.jpg" border="0">

Otherwise I believe you would have to edit the categories box if you want images and name but that is more coding than I have attempted yet so can't help you there.
