mrcoffee182 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Hi, I am currently trying to install something that will allow me to add a description at the top of each of my category pages. I am currently trying my 2nd one (after I wasted 3 hours on the first one which didn't work!) but have hit a stumbling block. The contribution I am using is this one: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ies+description Step 8 tells me to make "CHANGES TO catalog/default.php" But I have no such file!!! I'm using 2.2. I've searched my files for it but came back with no results. Any help hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Guest Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 the default.php represents the old naming convention of now index.php
Gil_e_n Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 You know, there's a different version of the same contribution designed for MS2 here. You might want to try installing that instead, since I don't think the old version's going to work properly on your site. Always BACK UP your files and your database before making any changes. Before asking questions, check out the Knowledge Base. Check out the contributions to see if your problem's solved there. Search the forums.
