Dont seem to be able to remove the corner gif from the "new products" info box.

I can get rid of it on all other info boxes but cant find where to set the New Products corner gif to False . . . anyone?

Are you talking about the small box that is in the column or the whats new for whatever month box?

Sorry :'( I'm talking about the main new products box not the info boxes in the columns, I have managed to set the gifs to false in the Infoboxes but just dont seem to be able to find the area that controls "New Products for Month"

The easiest thing to do would be to make a transparent gif, then replacing the images found in catalog/includes/images/infobox

That is, if you do not want any images at all which it sounds like what you are trying to do. This will stop all of the corners showing in all of your infoboxes, including any in the middle of the page like the whats new for box.

Thanks I had thought of that but would like to style with a different images

in headerinfo that is a different size etc and maybe add my own corners, have the option to style the new products differently.

Be great to know where it is all the same.

Thanks for all your help so far, maybe I was just too tired and will look more tonight. Im just interested in working it all out so I can style the look of the oscommerce as much as I can to vary the look of sites I intend to use it in.

the image is being called from catalog/includes/classes/box.php

maybe that will help you some, but it controls all the boxes so you have to be sure you are editing the right section of code which i dont know off the top of my head.

best bet would be to make a backup and just try different parts calling for the image until you find the right section, unless someone comes along who posts the code.

Yeah I will have a look at that thats where I was messing around last night maybe I will take another look, I've obviously missed it. Makes my brain ache after a while

Thanks for your prompt replies to my posts.

Ok back to work and daydreaming of messing around with oscommerce.

Its been a great platform for me to start understanding how PHP works.

So props go to all you guys and gals who make it what it is. (w00t)
