Guest
Hello again all. I am currently reworking a currently published ontribution that automatically back's up the database when you're working in the admin area. It doesn't use a cron, but rather a timer since last backup. Any time you click a link, or refresh, it evaluates it enough time has passed to backup the database. The length of time is customizable. What I am using it for is the same situation, only for the catalog area. Everything is working beautifully so far. However, I have two questions. 1. Would using this in the catalog area create a security threat? 2. I would like to have the previous backup deleted once the new one is saved. Is there any script capable of doing this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
