Switch show prices off , until customer is authori

Hi there,

I'm trying to tweak OSCommerce for a long time now, and I seem to do quite well. Thanks to some contrinutions here. At the moment I've implemented Seperate Pricing PEr Customer, and "login for price".

Since my customer is a manufacturer, who only sells to resellers, he doesn't want anyone to see the prices , just like that. Only after a authorized login, the reseller should see his prices, and not others. (This works brilliant with SPPC!).

Thing I'm trying to get changed now (and without luck until now) , is that customers can create their own account , and after that they can login directly. This is what I need to avoid.

In the customer tabels, there's a wonderfull field, "alert unauthorized". Actually I expected that if I wouldn't authorize a customer, he wouldn't see any prices. But no, works different.

At the moment I'm thinking of rebuiling the index.php script to complety remove the create_account.php script from the index page, and make it password protected on it's own. But that would mean that my customer has to fill in everyone , who wants access, lot's of work of course.

ANyone an idea?
