When i try and validate my favicon.ico HERE it shows as fine and in place, but i get the link error message as

<link rel="icon" ...> or similar tag was found, but it doesn't appear to be correctly formatted:
<LINK REL="favicon.ico" HREF="http://www.leisurezone.co.uk">

The link i have placed between my index.php and product_info.php head tags looks like this:-

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico">

Can anyone see why i am getting the error?

Also can someone please test it out and see if it adds the favicon when you add a page to your favourites, or see if it is in the address bar. I can't test it because i already have it in there so it won't add it. My Site

Thanks In Advance

You do not need to put a stylesheet link, or for that mather any other link...

Just upload your icon to your main folder and call it: favicon.ico

Thats it.... B)

Cheers Nick, did you check that it works though? I can't test it.

I thought without the link it doesn't add it to your address bar, only the favourites if theres no link?

Thanks

Julian
