qvert
First of all I'd like to say hello everybody. I'm new here. I've been looking for a solution to my problem: how to make the site fit the whole page? I've found some threads answering this problem, I even downloaded some contribs, but none of the solutions there seem to work for me. I should add that I'm not using the latest osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2. My version is a little older (I THINK). What makes me say this is because some files mentioned in those threads I read earlier do not exist in my site.. If anyone can lend a hand, I would appreciate it very much. Regards. ChrisHoward
You'll need to remove both left and right columns first and then stretch 100% across? If thats what you mean?
qvert
No no, I want it to fit the whole screen. I made a print screen after the site and drawed how I would want it to look:
♥Vger
osCommerce does what you want it to by default - so something has been added to fix the width. Without knowing what it's difficult to give any more advice. Vger
qvert
What are you suggesting that I do?
♥Vger
You'll need to find out/remember what contributions you installed that fixed the width of the site. Vger
qvert
Well nothing fixed the width. That's the default width of the site.

qvert
I'm running the site on localhost, in one or two days I'll transfer it on a server and then I'll tell you the link. In the meantime I'll try to do what Monika said.
niknakgroup
You arent using a basic osc download, from the look of things you are using one of the fork projects. Just guessing, but I think its the one with templates installed. Figure where those templates are generated then thats where the problem will be. Please note - if I have suggested a contrib above, it doesnt mean it will work! Most of the contribs are not ones I've used, but may be useful for your particular problem.... Have you tried a refined search? Chances are your problem has already been dealt with elsewhere on the forums..... if (stumped == true) { return(square_one($start_over) } else { $random_query = tep_fetch_answer($forum_query) }
qvert
And how do I figure where the templates are generated? (and yes, your guess is correct - I remember when I bought the site that I had to choose from some other templates)
niknakgroup
post a link to your site so i can figure which fork you are using, then i'll tell you where the templates are based.
