tmgrood
For some strange reason I have a column of 6 n's on the left side of my categories page. Veeeeeeeeery strange. How do I get rid of them. Which file contains the categories page? I thought I had found the page in catalog/index.php but anytime I would try deleting one of the n's, my actual page would tell me theres a parse error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm a victim of circumstance
Jack_mcs
If you used the file manager in admin, it caused the problem. It's a known problem and you shouldn't use it for that reason. To get rid of them, search includes/boxes/categories.php for "n" and change all occurrences to "\n" (quotes included). Ive been using a program that someone suggested, called HTML-Kit. It's what ive been using to edit any php files I need to. I used the "find" option within the program. Do you know of any better programs to use? Im not too familiar with .php files in the first place but it does help me edit in most cases. Thanks. I will keep looking for those pesky "n"'s. Vger <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hate to sound ignorant but do you mean text pad as in Notepad, or is it an actual program. I know, I know...............I should look it up on Google. lol I'm a victim of circumstance

It is the best package around except for an annoying mouse dragging problem, IMO. But any editor should be able to find the n's. When you said categories page, I assumed you meant the categories box but now I think you probably meant the home page. In that case, try searching your index.php file. If that is not it, look in your url to see what page you are when the n's are showing. That will help you to locate the corrupted file.
