donhinio
Hello All, Just a quick one: Having just installed OSCommerce, I am getting the message on the home page at the top in a red band saying: "Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/xxxxx/public_html/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file." I have set the permission to both 644 and 444 but neither works and I am still getting the message. Can anybody help... Many thanks, Donhinio.
Daemonj
444 should do it. If not, then send your host's tech support department an email asking why php thinks a 444 file is writeable as that is a problem on their end.
