Problem with cc payment

I have a problem with payment via my credit carts.

I use osc2.2.

When the customer proceedes to pay with credit card, he is redirected to the banks secure page. When he finishes the payment, he is being redirected back to my page.

So far so good. Everything seems ok. The payment is shown at my banks system and i can be paid.

But when he returns back to my page, the basket hasnt been emptied. The products are still there.

In addition I cannot see the order at the admin section at all (who has order what), so I HAVE A GREAT PROBLEM.

Can anyone help me??????

May I ask who your bank provider is? It wouldn't happen to be Verisign would it? I have isolated the issue, since we've been suffering with the problem for a month. However now comes time for figuring out the solution.

Thanbks for replying

I am based in Greece and its a greek bank.

The bank informed me that they send back to my page the cookie with all details

but my oscommerce just cant receive it....

I believe the only thing needed to close out the order is having the session variable returned. Check the payment processing page to see what values are being passed back, and if the session ID is one of them.
