XAMP Woes

XAMPP by default loads php5, and this is a compatibility problem with osCommerce and php5. You can solve it in one of two ways:

 

On line 31 of catalog\admin\includes\classes\upload.php change this:

 

$this = null;

 

to this:

 

unset ($this);

 

Or you can go to http://localhost and use the XAMPP control panel to roll back to php4. For this you use the switch-bat.php link.
