julia
Is it possible to somehow put in a different sentence at the top of the Index Page > Categories, depending on which category you are in? Thanks! Julie www.noteworthyinkonline.com
Jack_mcs
A code change is required for that. Either Header Tags or Category Descriptions will do it. julia
Would I make a new field in the categories table, and then call it just like I would the image? I don't really know php very well, but I've been a hack master doing this and another site. Julie
Guest
Julie as I understand you want the categories title to show the category name you're in so as Jack said check or d/l the categories description contribution http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1373

Jack_mcs
Not to complicate things for you, but if, at some point, you plan on adding header Tags, it would be a mistake, IMO, to add categories description. Header Tags has that code build in so they can't both run at the same time. So, if you do install both, you will have one of them not working fully. This is perfectly OK but might be better avoided. julia
That is good to know Jack. I have header tags already installed on one of my sites but not this one. I jsut installed the contribution for the categories description last night and it works great. Thanks Julie
