Guest
i'm trying something other than creating .htaccess. i noticed (after pointed out to me) that control panel of vds does have a way to password protect directories. so, i did. i got this error message below when trying to log in........ please help.....i've searched around the forum and does this have something to do with it being in safe mode? if so, how do i fix?.. also, is it secure to protect the directory in this way without the encrypted .htaccess with .htpasswd??? many thanks in advance.......kbf Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect.
