Guest
I have moved my site to new hosting and am getting an error when trying to do a backup. Everything else seems to be working perfectly and I have just input loads of new products which I don't want to lose. Error message reads: Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/bin/gzip) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.co.uk/httpdocs:/tmp) in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.co.uk/httpdocs/catalog/admin/backup.php on line 424 Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/bin/zip) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.co.uk/httpdocs:/tmp) in /home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.co.uk/httpdocs/catalog/admin/backup.php on line 425. If any can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
Rayzak
try to unpack the file from gzip if it will not help, try to import your backup somewhere else - like your own PC (if you know how)
