tammyblalock
I'm putting together a new shopping cart, using OS Commerce, for a web client. This is the first time I've ever used OSC, but was impressed with the demo and decided to give it a try. My client sales clothes, shoes and other items which come in many sizes. Is there an easy way to associate multiple attributes to a product? (please say yes) Rather than, associating 'size 7' to 'shoes_1' THEN associating 'size 7 1/2' to 'shoes_1' THEN associating 'size 8' to 'shoes_1' THEN associating 'size 8 1/2' to 'shoes_1' THEN associating 'size 9' to 'shoes_1' THEN associating 'size 9 1/2' to 'shoes_1' THEN and so on. (repeated for sarcism!) I read the Knowlege Base and it speaks of creating groups of products and then associating the attributes to the groups. However, it also says that you have to apply attributes to each single item. Contradicting, eh? - especially for a first-time user. Have I overlooked something? Please guide me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!! :)

Wendy James
The contributions come with install instructions so as long as you have an editer you should be fine. One with a find and replace feature is even better. :) Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. tammyblalock
I've downloaded and unzipped the folders. I'm stuck on the "create tables" instructions. Any help here would be helpful. Can I edit php files with notepad?
