i am receiving the following error on my page:

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: c:\\websites\\deedlebags240\\deedlebags.com/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

I have set the permissions as requested and my hosting site. easy-cgi.com has done this as well. The error is not going away. I am running on a windows based server, and this is a unix error, how do i get rid of this problem???????

PLEASE HELP!!

This is not a Unix error. Unix is just an operating system. Server systems (the main ones) are either Windows or Apache, and this error is common to both, although how to fix it is different.

On a Windows server the chmod command via FTP does not work - file permissions cannot be changed in that way. The chmod command is specific to Apache web servers. With Windows you need to use the File Manager in your web hosting control panel to reset permissions.
