Hi everyone,

I have been searching for a while now without any luck..

I wan't to be able to close that little padlock in my admin.

Can someone please point me to some info on SSL protecting my admin.

Thanks,

I was going to do both actually..

htaccess the admin as well as run it through a SSL..

What do I have to actually change in the config file..? can you ellaborate a little..

In the catalog/admin/includes/configure.php file I've got....

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://secure.blah-sj-002.net');

define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true'); // secure webserver for catalog module

But is this so the catalog is protected? I named the SSL for the catalog in the installation however it does not carry through in the admin.

Thanks for your help 999999

Cheers!

Forget about the install just edit the config files.

catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

//This is admin server.
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://...);

//This is for images from the catalog in admin.
define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://...');
define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://...');
define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true'); //the word 'true' of 'false' in admin

catalog/includes/configure.php

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://...');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://...');
define('ENABLE_SSL', true); //true or false 1 or 0 in catalog
